2 sp3's one windows key lights up one dosen't

I have 2 surface pro 3's. One windows key lights up, one doesn't. Is there an option or is something wrong?

Interesting! REALLY?! I have an i7 256 and the Windows key has never illuminated on my unit. Also, no videos that I have seen show the Windows button lighting up. This may be something new in manufacturing. What model do you have? Does it light up all the time? I'll be interested to hear if anyone else has one that does this.

Could be a freak prototype unit or maybe its radioactive or maybe its the special prize unit for some upcoming promotional campaign.
