This might be interesting for german customers who are looking for a SP3:

The german reseller notebooksbilliger.de and Intel are offering a 50 € discount if you buy a new notebook or tablet with Intel processor. To get the discount you have to register and post a photo of your old computer. The discount applies only to items on stock. According to their blog the discount can be combined with the student discount.

At the moment there are only a few SP3 models in stock. The promotion ends on September 14th - maybe the more models will be on stock until then.

This webshop is selling the SP3 only for the recommend retail price (not very interesting), but they have good prices for combined packages of SP3 and TypeCover.

I have no connection to this reseller. I bought my SP3 from them (before this promotion), but that was the first item I ever bought from them.

For the 2 posts that have been removed, the forum guidelines specify that all posts must be made in English.

What's the big deal?? Tons of forums have an English-only requirement. Gdir may have been making a post directed at Germans, but he wrote it in English.

But you are right, this IS a great community...
