I would like to be able to display a program running on my pro to a tv screen like you can with airplay. I know you can use smart glass/xbox but this is for a work environment so not going to put a xbox in the office ;) - Any know of 3rd party apps etc to do this?

The Surface is certified for PlayTo. If the destination is a PlayTo certified receiver, it should work.

    ps.

Make sure that the receiver is certified DMR (digital media renderer) and *not* a DMP (digital media player).

    pps.

If you meant Airplay Mirroring my answer is not relevant.

lacking opportunities i never gae it a shot, but airparrot seems a possibility if you already got a appleTV

as i stated in a diffrent thread i recently discovered
Faqs for ScreenBeam Wireless Display Kit
give me a heads up if you tried it.

Warning: Using the USB-Dongle für the Pro only enables 720p streaming :(
