Wifi worked PERFECT in 8.1, now every 10 minutes or so my connection drops completely and I have to reconnect. I had this problem with my SP2 but not SP3 in the past :(

Usually if you just uninstall the driver in Device Manager (without ticking the box to remove the software) it will get redetected and automatically reinstall and that's all you have to do. Occasionally you have to tell Device Manager to scan for changes (or reboot) ... and on rare occasions there's actually an issue with your copy of the driver requiring reinstallation from the downloaded source you linked to. Hope it resolves for you.

Often time, it has to do with the radio channel in your wireless router. I know, you said things were working and other devices are fine. I ran into this similar issue in the past. The simple change in radio channel might just do the trick. for 2.4ghz 1. 6, or 11 are the best. But you will need to find out how crowded where you are? so you can change to less crowded channel.
