Why am I posting this in the Surface Pro Forum? Well because we have limited space on our SSD's and as a result some of us may be tempted to set up our Dropbox folders with symbolic links to save space.

The problem is that if there is some sort of failure in the syncing process you can lose precious files in your original folder that is symbolically linked. Be careful. In general I would recommend against using symbolic links with Dropbox. You can always put your Dropbox Folder on an SDCard to save SSD space.
