Best Practices for maintaining computer

    Hi Surface Forum,

    any tips, tricks, programs to keep you Surface Pro 4 in tip top shape?

    Is there bloater software that you remove?

    Cleaner programs that you recommmend?

    1. I run Wise Disk Cleaner daily, Windows disk clean-up at least weekly.
    2. CCleaner to clean the registry weekly.

    Nope... none for me. The image is clean and I only install a few core programs so I don't deal with code-rot.

    Agree. I keep Surface Pro 4 with minimal software used for work and other official business. That means no beta's, no trials, no non stock system utility tools.
    Back up drive daily

    I run Defender about once a month... that's it really! Never really needed more.
