Bluetooth keyboard randomly stops responding

Sometimes it's fixed by turning the keyboard off and on, sometimes it's fixed by reconnecting, but never out of charge.

I want to avoid doing either of these things whole the keyboard still has power, has anylne used a bluetooth keyboard with a surface before?

Well, now I have a new problem. It seems the keyboard doesn't want to connect at all now. I've tried turning the device on and off, the keyboard on and off, reconnecting the keyboard, updating the drivers, etc.

Nothing seems to work to get it to connect.

It's an Anker T230 keyboard by the way

Whenever I detect the device and try to re-pair with it, it always seems to pop up with some dialogue in the windows UI saying "that didn't work" followed by "try re-adding yourAnker Ultra-Slim Keyboard or look up extra installation instructions from your manufacturer"

There are no extra installation instructions. It just used to work after I entered a passcode.

Well, I fixed it, but now it still seems to disconnect even if I turned "turn off device to save power" off on the device manager for the marvell bluetooth adapter
