I have warranty but still won't it be possible to fix or replace it for free or with substantially low cost?

I can't even use the touchscreen.

Welcome to the forum

If you purchased the Essentials/Complete warranty there is a $50 deducible but my guess is that they will replace it.

If you are talking about the 1 year hardware warranty (and not Microsoft Complete), then it's pretty much up to the representative on the phone/chat or at the Microsoft store on whether they will replace it (for free) or if you have to pay $300.
