That would appear to be the case, unless you take it to work and connect to the network there, in which case it may be activated automatically by the on-site activation servers?
And if Kaspersky publishes the port or protocol signature it can be blocked. That's all they have to do. um, sorry you'll need to buy our Kaspersky Anti Computrace software for that.

Blocking at router level, or firewall does not work with this advance chip supposedly. Now if I can't disable it or whatever, I want to be able to see if it's even active, going into this new UEFI, I can't even see if it's turn on. The UEFI doesn't have an option, only some old bios have that option, I should be at least able to see if it's turn on...I got no option, it's ridiculous.
