    Hello,

I have a <1 month old Surface Pro and for the last few days it's been crashing while sleeping. For some reason WhoCrashed only sees the event that occurred overnight, although a similar crash happened a couple days ago. The WhoCrashed report is below. Does anyone have any suggestions to troubleshoot?

On Sun 5/10/2015 6:23:04 PM GMT your computer crashedcrash dump file: C:\windows\Minidump\051015-7046-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x150CA0)
    Bugcheck code: 0x9F (0x3, 0xFFFFE0000D438060, 0xFFFFD000B387F960, 0xFFFFE0000EEBCCF0)
    Error: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILUREfile path: C:\windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
    product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporationdescription: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This bug check indicates that the driver is in an inconsistent or invalid power state.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

    Hi, welcome to the forum.

A few questions. Is your machine a Surface Pro, or a Surface Pro 3?

Does it happen when it's plugged into power, on battery, or both?

Have you tried refreshing, or restoring, your Surface?

    Please let us know!
