Email Problems

    Any idea re sending emails from other accounts? Surface will not send or recieve emails from a demon account, despite Microsoft and demon saying it should, nor will it do so with a domain name account - am i restricted to gmail etc?

    I setup email from three domains and they all work fine. Are you sure you've got the incoming and outgoing server names set correct? The only other things could be are misspelled addresses and/or passwords.

    I'll double check, something is not right as both accounts should to all intents work, but its defeating me plus the IT support so far - did the server port numbers get automatically provided or did you input them?

    My ISP is Bluehost and their help section told me what Port numbers to input.

    I found the default ports on the surface were wrong for my provider. Worth a check...

    thanks all, have a session with an it expert today to try and get things sorted, will update after that
