    Hi,

i can see a lot of event log entries on my SP2 like the following:

The speed of processor 0 in group 0 is being limited by system firmware. The processor has been in this reduced performance state for 71 seconds since the last report.

How can i get rid of this message?

    Any ideas?

    thank you

What do you mean, "get rid" of it?

The message is a "warning" that the OS kernel detects a "power event", like going on battery, and CPUs are slowed down to reduce battery drain. In my event log, it occurs in sets of 4 messages, one for each CPU core. Seems to be normal behavior of the system.
