Failing keyboard?

Surface Pro 3, Windows 10, about one year old.

Surfase Pro 3 works perfektly, but the type kover will not type the letter between B and D. I kan go to the karacter map and select letter c, and it appears properly. It is definitely the keyboard.

Is there a fix?

My guess is it would be very very difficult and might cost more than getting a replacement. Get an SP4 type cover.
