Fan kicking into high gear when viewing certain sites in modern IE

Hi guys, lately I've noticed the CPU usage spike up and the fan kicking into high gear when I'm browsing the Engages.com site in modern internet explorer. It really makes the pages loaded very slowly. Wonder if anyone experienced this too.

Please describe the purpose and nature of the site. as much as id like to analyze this... I'm not that trusting.

Logically, if browsing other sites is fine and browsing this specific site is not fine it's a pretty safe bet it's the site even if it seems to run fine in a different browser. Inefficient code is the most frequently encountered problem but it could be very poorly coded or incorrectly implementing some features or might even be malicious.

Thanks Grey. Sorry for the typo, I meant www.engadget.com (the tech new site).
To be sure I noticed this about 3 weeks ago and it is the only site that causes the high CPU usage.

Definitely report the problem to the site. there's some horrendous ADs on there

First try adding tracking protection lists using the Desktop IE which will run in MUI IE also.
Otherwise look at using the Winhelp hosts file solution... most effective AD and Malware blocker ...
I just have the file installed and an exclusion in antivirus nothing else,
