A friend of mine ran Gears of War 4 on his Surface Book. It didn't go to well. :)

The last screen shot shows 16GB of memory, which was only sold in a configuration including the nVidia dGPU, but the system info also shows that it is using the embedded Intel 520 graphics. Has he checked to see if the nVidia GPU is showing up in the device manager? If not then detaching and reattaching the screen can sometimes wake it back up, or rebooting if it comes to that.

It looks like GoW requires 2GB or video memory minimum with 4GB preferred. The dGPU only has 1GB dedicated VRAM (the new updated base hardware announced this morning will have 2GB). On my machine (which has both) it shows that the embedded Intel 520 GPU only has 1GB of memory assigned to it, but I don't know if this can be grown dynamically at run time.
