How do you attach a photo to an email?

I saved a jpeg on the desktop. I opened up Gmail to compose, and wanted to attach the photo to that email. I thought it would work like on my desktop PC, just drag the photo to the body of the email, OR attach it by clicking on the paperclip icon and select. But, on the SP2, neither one of those methods worked. Please advise,

The Paperclip should work. Are you using a gMail app or a browser?

Paperclip button should do it. From there, hit the 'go up' button a few times and desktop should be a folder to look in.

If you're having trouble finding that folder, try putting it in a folder you can locate.
