To use one of my tools (Screaming Frog) I would need to install Java 8. I installed Java Standard which is a 7 version - but to old. Whenever I try to install the actual Java version I get an error message cause first window wants to close jp2launcher.exe, when I click yes I get the next window telling me that Jva update did not complete. Error 1603. Thanks, Michael

Installing Java 8 build 25 hasn't been an issue for me on any Windows 8 system. What exactly is your problem?
