    Morning all,
I've recently bought a surface pro 7 and planning to use a micro sd to expand the storage.
I was thinking to keep the integated hd for win and programs and use the micro sd for files.
What's the best way of doing this? In particolar, I don t want anyone to be able to access all my files if the surface gets stoled.
    Thanks!

You may be dismayed by the slower speed of the SD memory, especially if it is encrypted. But it may be fine for you.

Windows 10 Pro already includes a way to keep thieves from reading your SD data. Choose Properties on your SD drive, and turn “Bitlocker”on.

If your Windows 10 version is not Pro or Enterprise, a third party encryption may be purchased.
