We can see that this idea could be polarizing. If you are an iPhone user who really likes Cortana, then this would be pretty cool news, but if you are a Microsoft fan and use their mobile products, then this will be pretty useless news. The word on the street is that Microsoft is looking to hire folks to help them beta test their Cortana AI virtual assistant on Apple's iOS. Yep, that means they are moving forward with their plan to port Cortana to an iPhone.

To be clear, we aren't sure how Apple would even react to this. Would they allow a Cortana app on the Apple App Store? Who knows... either way, it probably isn't too surprising that Microsoft is making this move. We already knew that Cortana for Android and iOS was in the works... now it looks like Microsoft is making it happen.

To be considered for this beta test, you will need to fill out this survey from Microsoft: Cortana on iOS beta user recruiting Survey

I'm pretty sure Apple won't care as long as it passes there software review test.

Do you think Siri and Cortana would get along? What would their relationship be?
