I Have a question for owners of 'Microsoft Modern Keyboard with fingerprint ID' (EKZ-00001).

Is this keyboard can work as USB keyboard. What I mean is:

    1. Is it available when rebooting PC – for example in bios
    2. Can I use it when Bluetooth is turned off or not available

I do not own one now, but when I did, I used the wired connection (USB) which worked without Bluetooth pairing.

Here is a quote from Microsoft
"The option of using Microsoft Modern Keyboard with Fingerprint ID as either a wireless/wired interface gives connection options, making it more appealing to commercial audiences. We optimized the Bluetooth paring experience, enabling automatic pairing when you connect the cable at first OOBE. "

Thanks for info. I will wait for additional info from other user to be sure - because I heard that this keyboard have some simplified pairing over USB and work on bluetooth after that (or maybe I heard wrong). I want be sure becouse I'm living in Poland and only compatibile layout is in US so it will be expensive :)
