overcharging

Hey guys,

Just a quick question. Will overcharging the sp3 damage its battery and shorten its life?

The Surface does manage its charging and will stop charging when fully charged then not charge again until the battery level drops below 94% I think. you might notice it display plugged in not charging. Still occasionally discharging will help maintain battery life and calibration.

Overcharging anything will damage its battery. But like GreyFox7 mentioned, SP3 circuitry will not allow it to overcharge.
