Photos on Windows 10

File photos (.jpg) that showed up in Win 8 dont's seem to show. Thumbnails are OK, slide show works, but the photo itself returns an error.

Does this happen with ALL JPGs? Did they all come from the same source and what exactly is trying to open them?
