I work for a company that is testing a Surface 3 for viability as a product. The biggest issue I am having in testing right now is to keep the WIFI connection while the screen is off. I need to be able to ping it/wake it from this state. I have done some digging and have found some solutions for the Surface Pro 3, but have had no luck applying those to the Surface 3.

    Any suggestions are welcomed.

Same problem. It seems to "forget" WiFi connections I have told it to remember. Never had this problem with SP3

    Okay - wild guess.
Is IPv6 enabled on the adapter? If so, try turning that off.
