really weird problem

You should still try the ferrite chokes I suggested -- they may or may not work when a radio tower is *that* close, but it worth a try.

There are other options to deal with RF interference, but most of them are more costly and much more complicated.

Hey,
I really don't know what happened but the problem seems to be gone even when the power is hooked which is a good thing but it makes me wonder if there was or still a different reason :p
anyways, im happy with the sp3 now and THANK YOU ALL for helping me out.

Well, this is going to sound really weird, too...

If your SP3 behavior is okay now, you may have finished 'burn in'. That means,

initially, your new device was intolerant of very small electromagnetic radiation, but now has run circuits for long enough that the components are less sensitive. 'Burn in' happens to all circuits - and power consumption goes up, too, also making external interference less important. Running it in a different place seems to have done good.
