Size of the News app

Hi!
Is it normal, that the news app has a size of 2,5GB? On other tablets the size is around 200 Mb.

Still not quite enough information. What Surface do you have and what are the other tablets? You posted in the Windows 8 forum and don't have your device in your profile.

Do you have it set to Offline Access? And did you add additional news sources in customization? Mine is typically around 400MB using defaults...

I have an Surface Pro 2 and the other one was an acer (don`t know the excact version). I have enabled the offline acces, but i haven`t add additional sources.

You have the option to clean up those files in the App under settings....

Where excactly is this option? i can only chose between the counties for news and to turn off the offline articles.

It looks like the removed that option when it switched from Bing to MSN, so you can do it through moving the toggle for offline access...

I tried this yesterday but it doesn`t delete something.
