GPU is 1 hour stress test stable now. CPU stress test is still running.. 45 minutes without crash so far

How about Connected Standby
Yes, I believe that was the acid test.
2855 (Core i7 256GB Surface Pro 3, stock):

Is that good? I honestly haven't got a clue, I am just testing my external fan:

If you expand the report you see this graph
upload_2015-1-23_7-10-50.png

which shows your system in the cluster of 80 at the upper end of these Similar systems. That's relatively good by comparison with similar systems.

The other graph places your system (2855) between typical ultralight (2437) an and gaming laptop (9595). IDK what the better than 6% relates to, it seems to be a relative measure but relative to what is not known. Given that I get various values from the same machine without more information its useless so I ignore this flag as it has no meaning to me.

Back to the bar graph above. forget about the upper and lower bars just focus on the three main bars. From this we know your result was arrived at using external cooling. That may mean the others also used some form of tweaking, or perhaps ran in optimal environmental conditions, or just have a naturally optimal performing system. No two systems run identically there are always variances. If you tap/click the bars it will open that data set and you can see what other systems were in that group, their individual scores and a button for system details.

There's a compare function but last time I tried it wasn't working and just showed/compared two copies of the same system. {Snicker}

A common result, from that I conclude standby does undervolting which results in too much undervolting.

So undervolting improved benchmark results due to less throttling? Very interesting.

But it seems you're better off leaving voltage as-is and using an external fan for cooling.
Score 2963 - http://www.3dmark.com/sd/2780217

My cooling is made from jerry rigged XBOX 360 cooler. This thing is a beast!

First fan on the left pulls air out. Two other fans on the right push air in. I have the SP3 angled a for direct air flow.
