I've been working with Microsoft to clean up some corrupted files to enable my SP3 to install Windows 10. It took me 7 1/2 hours to do the download yesterday.

As I'm downloading the Win10 file, I did a speed test on my SP3 (all updates installed) and I'm getting less than 1 mbs. When I do a speedtest on my iPad on the same wireless network, I get a download speed of 7 mbs.

I asked my network administer about the discrepancy in performance and he says he's never seen that before.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

Running the speed test through my Google browser rather than the Windows 8 app shows a speed on the Surface of 5 Mbps. Must be an app issue!

Hmm, I got 60mbps each time downloading Windows 10 (did it twice).

I did my win10 upgrade this morning, took 45 minutes, including the download, from start to finish.
