Solved SP3 won't turn on after charging

My SP3 was showing low battery so I plugged it into the charger. The next day I go to turn the machine on and it won't come to life. I get a very brief start screen? maybe for a tenth of a second, then I get an icon of a battery with one bar on it in a circle and that's it, back to black screen. Does the same thing when it is connected to the charger or not. How do I correct this?

My error. Apparently that wall socket was on the same circuit as another with a GFCI which had tripped. Back in business now. Sorry to waste anyone's time.
