This problem may not be due to the driver, but to the settings associated to that driver and device. Try doing a "Reset" from Settings, Recovery. Choose to "keep all my files".

I seem to be having a similar issue.
My keyboard worked one day, I detached it to read and reattached after to find it no longer worked. It was literally sitting there and the surface in my hand, so not damage or dirt. This happened about 1 day after updating and was possibly the first time it had been detached. I have tried the usual (restarting, looking at drivers, removing and reattaching keyboard) all to no avail.
It is quite annoying so any suggestions are appreciated.
