Solved SP4 No back light on Keyboard?

Mine isn't lit up. One spot on the MS website it says they are and on another doesn't list it. On the SP3 keyboard it does list it. Is mine defective?

Have you tried the two buttons next to the escape key? Those adjust the keyboard backlighting, though mine always turns on when first attaching it.
