Surface Line Abandoned by Microsoft?

I really hope no, but as we say in french: "there is no smoke without fire."

I've read a lot of things about the Surface project, and how many B $ it cost to Microsoft. So I wouldn't be surprised a lot if they stop it.

No matter what happen, it wont change a thing on the love I have for my SP3.

Here is the part of the article which tips me that this is BS:

"Microsoft had high hopes for the tablet, but larger-screened smartphones have recently been taking business away from tablets."

So MS is going to terminate a full blown PC hybrid because they are losing money to big phones? That is the most ridiculous comment I have ever heard.

Now that MS has finally gotten SP3 right, I'd be shocked to see them abandon it. A least the 10 Bestbuy's in my city can't keep them in stock.

digitimes is worthless

This. 99% of the time, take whatever DigiTimes says, and think the opposite. So, this actually means that Microsoft will be releasing 15 new versions of the Surface line and paying customers to use them.
