Surface pro 3 not turning on

When my SP3 went down, something happened to the SSD causing it. That may not be your case, but it was in my case. If your problem is like mine, hooking the SSD up after removing it won't help...

Before doing that, do this:

Wrap your SP3 rather tightly in plastic wrap or plastic bag. Place in freezer for 5 minutes. Take out. Plug in. Attempt power on.

Seriously.

haha I do that with dead sata drives... brings em back to life a few times to let me get what I need and then boom its dead after rebooting

Hold the power button down for 30 seconds, wait 10 and the hold the volume rocker up and preys the power button until the Surface Logo comes up... it will boot you into UEFI make no changes and exit....
