The new Surface Pro 7 was announced yesterday and although it did come with USB-C, it looks like there is still a lack of support for Tunderbolt. I can't wait for this to be possible on a Surface Pro because I would instantly hook up my GPU to an enclosure and start gaming on the Surface Pro!!

Regardless, anyone have an idea why Thunderbolt may not have been possible with this iteration? It was not included in the Surface Laptop 3 either....which I find strange, but still....

Microsoft is skipping Thunberbolt 3 and going straight to USB 4 in 2020.

True, hopefully they'll add Thunderbolt support then.
