Have no idea is the information is a mix of wishing/hoping and a few facts, or just rumor served up in an article. Anyway, interesting!

I would wait for official word from MS themselves. Everything else is just rumors to drive traffic to their sites.

Because fingerprint sensors is what they need to be focusing on, that's what was wrong with the devices! This is one of those features that if you are Apple, you can make people believe they cant live without. It doesn't even REGISTER on the list of things that MS should be worried about with the Surface 2 or RT 2. Not even in the ballpark or the same sport.

The article about finger print reading was very poorly written. I interpret the patent they display, as for touch gestures on the back, not for finger print reading..
