Touch or Type

Pardon the pun, but on the, er, surface, I don't see a difference. Which is newest, which performs best? TY.

if your talking about the keyboard most people like the type... now if your talking about the screen keyboard versus the physical keyboard? then its the physical

no, i mean the keyboard and clicks onto the screen, with the keys. what is the diff between the two?

The type cover has physical buttons, the touch cover has buttons? that don't go down when you press on it. Currently there's two types of each. The Type/touch cover is for Surface Pro 3 only,
and the type/touch cover 2 is for any surface. I have the touch cover 1 and don't like it.
I highly recommend you buy the Type cover 2.
