Weird thing. On my SP3, I can see that the price of a HP Stream 7 is 99$ on the Canadian store. Simultaneously, on the same webpage, I see 89$ on my Linux computer. What's the reason for a march break deal 10$ more expensive on my SP3 than on my Linux?
they figured if you have a SP3 you can afford the extra $10 or maybe its that a linux machine could be running on a 2003 Packard Bell and you cant afford the extra $10 buy it from Linux lol
Yes, this is exactly what I was thinking. It's an example of positive discrimination (even if my Linux is runing on a high end specs machine).
I think I figured it out... I am using a VPN on my Linux, and I am connected to my University's network. For some reasons it gives me a 10% student/prof discount. I cleared my cache, that is why the price is now back to 99$.
