While there's no official confirmation yet that Windows 10 was the reason the brand new Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 (64GB) sold out in less than a minute, most signs point to that being a factor. Check out the article that gives more of the details:

Great price point as well. 200.00 for a full functioning windows 10 tablet. Interesting.

Actually, WalMart currently has the Nextbook Flexx 8.9" 2-in-1 Tablet with Win 10 for only $109. That's with 1GB of RAM and 32GB of memory complete with keyboard! The 10.1" version is $149,99 and has 2 GB of RAM.

Nextbook has announced new versions that will have the Z8300 CPU and 2GB of RAM. The list prices will be $150, $200 and $250 for 9", 10" and 11" versions, respectively.

E FUN to show off three budget Windows 10 2-in-1 tablets at CES 2016

At least the SP4 upped its base storage to 128GB, but it's a little more expensive than the Mi Pad. I wonder if the price of the S3 with 64GB will stay at $399?

Unfortunately, the Mi Pad has no microSD slot.

What a stupid Apple innovation to copy!

This is typical Xiao Mi strategy, every product they launch will sell out in a minute.
