Check your settings on your TV for something called Just Scan and set it to that. It's probably in the aspect ratio settings.

My solution was to get a USB C external battery with at least 30 watts of output along with a usb c to surface fin charging cable. It works great for just the tablet. It will keep it charged for a day in battery saver mode. The cable is 6 feet which gives me enough maneuvering room.

I tired that manual release and just couldn't get it to work. The vents are totally different on the surfacebook 2 than on the original. I couldn't find the manual release. In other news I did get a replacement unit which means I have another year of microsoft warranty. :cool:

Oh cool! I'm glad you brought this to my attention. Apparently, it's a bug for me. If your win 10 machine is set to high battery performance the slider disappears from your battery settings tab. I'm so glad that I was able to bring it back!
