I never experience dents, I owned Surface Pro 4 even. What bothers me is that, at times I'd find very little blemishes on paint finish like spots. Although small, but still.
Do you think when Surface Book 2 comes out, Microsoft would then sell bases only so we can use it on our Surface Book? It's a good way to upgrade for newer GPU, better battery or even enhance hinge. Surface Pro 4 keyboard has backward compatibility to Surface 3. I hope Microsoft would do the same.
I am aware of the other differences but my question was specific with the performance. Basically, can the core i7 Surface Pro 4 out perform the Surface Book with core i5 however has dedicated gpu?

I have the Surface Pro 4 core i7 and I am pretty much happy with it, I wasn't at first but with all the updates it fixed all my problems and now I like it so much.
So I recommend it to my brother, but the price for the Surface Pro 4 i7 with keyboard is near the price of the Surface...
I received no update on camera drivers and Windows Hello on the latest April Update. I checked the drivers and I am still running the old drivers. When I check to update, update settings says I have the latest updates. Here are my update logs and indeed there were no update for the camera drivers?
Good day, I applied your settings and my core i7 model seems to be stable, however what can we do to check if the settings has been implemented after reboot? Should we run the XTU again and apply the profile or is it set automatically every reboot without running the XTU app?
