Same here; I just performed a clean install of Windows 10 (from USB) and the flash still occurs at startup.

Well, my battery was around 85% in the morning and that's when Windows attempted to install the update; it was beyond my control....

My SP3 attempted to install Windows 10 three times, but failed. It probably failed because I'm running on battery (26% left)

If the issue is occurring in your replacement, then it is an issue with the firmware.

Yup, it works now, thanks. By the way, I had this problem on Windows 8.1; I never ran the Windows 10 Preview on my SP3, just on my Desktop.

The Tweak Tool app doesn't seem to work anymore; it just shows a black screen....

Agreed; there's nothing wrong except I can't get the live tile for the Calendar app to work....

Yeah, it's probably an issue with the Surface UEFI Firmware

This can't be a hardware issue; I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the May firmware....

Build 159 feels even more refined; bootup speed is much faster, about 2-3 seconds faster than on 158 :)

I can't test Cortana on my machine because it doesn't support the Canadian region; what a bummer.

This build is by far the most polished version yet; still looking for bugs....

I think you're seeing the default lockscreen for the OS; it quickly switches to the user-configured lockscreen; I sometimes see it on my SP3 too as well as my desktop, so I'm guessing it's an issue with the OS.

Oh, I guess we just have to wait for the next update; hopefully, Microsoft is aware of this...

I could be an issue with the current graphics driver; I may install the latest one from Intel's Download site to see if it fixes the issue...
