windows 10. My second SP3 did same thing on first one. Once in a great while, maybe 1 in 20 it will work fine..

Not a big thing but a pain. Keyboard cover won't type password without restart of SP3. Cover is one from Microsoft with pen holder attached. I always shut down SP3 in settings. Thanks

thanks, I don't trust Microsoft. Sent my i7 256 in for a ram problem and they said I had damaged it and wouldn't fix it. Screen did come back broken but not by me!! I'd rather not take any more chances. Thanks again

yes, cards did fit in my first SP3. I've just given up on whole SP3 experience. will just use this one as little as possible. thanks for trying to help!

Took advice called Tech support talked to a manager. Assured me someone would follow up ie. call me or email NEVER HAPPENED of course but got me off the phone!

Thanks for info. Will just keep it, afraid to send it back as they might say screen cracked and not replace it like they did with my i7 256 g. Regret the day I started all this SP3 nightmare. Will use it for e-mail and web browsing on trips so won't need micro slot was just hoping someone had...

there appears to be a piece of wire kind of round in there, not gonna send it back even though brand new. lost my 17 256g when screen got cracked somehow and they wouldn't fix it. will never trust that process again! Will just live with it, use external hard drive etc. Thanks for answering

new 13 64 g can't get micro sd card in. tried two cards san disc 32 gig. looks like something blocking but hard to see. Maybe something I'm not doing right, need help as with 64G I really need to use these cards. thanks

Tale of woe. My SP3 17 256 died. Tech could not reset/refresh. Said a partition was missing so he gave me a number and I sent it in. Came back with no repair and a cracked screen!! Screen was NOT cracked when I sent it!! Also I forgot to remove my Micro card and it is missing too. $1500...

my unit 17 256 gig is messed up. is it possible to buy a dvd from Microsoft that will make my unit like new? without going through all the recovery downloads. I have no access to w10 start menu so I need something that will wipe it all clean and start over thanks for any help.
