Wanna give a Little update on this Project: tried it one time and it hasn't worked. Is there a real easy and 100% working way to install 16.04 on an external HDD?

Yeah, but that's no Option for me, since I only have a 64GB Surface. Also, I want a real installation regarding the performance.

As I know Ctrl + S is Save as and Ctrl + Z restores the last deleted word. So I think that your Ctrl key is defective. Do you have a chance to test another Type Cover on the surface?

I mainly use my surface in the university, so the performance is not a big point.

Today my SP3 arrived. It is the i3 Version. The device looks new. The pen, the cover and the charger were sealed.
