N-Trig jitter is driving me nuts!

Yes, unfortunately it IS defective, or perhaps you could say INFERIOR to other solutions out there...in the sense that this is unlikely able to be fixed with a software upgrade. It's been out for a while now, and there's NO SOFTWARE SOLUTION IN SIGHT. Maybe in future hardware N-Trig will get...

N-Trig jitter is driving me nuts!

All 4 of my students that have Surface Books don't like it. It depends on you're working style...if you tend to draw fast and undo very often it might be ok. I prefer to draw with a slow controlled line for small details. FYI my students use it for cleanup linework for manga as well. Also...

    N-trig

I have purchased a Surface Book recently and I can tell you, with first hand experience, that the N-Trig technology is defective. It is not good for detail work and drawing slowly because the cursor / brush will shift around under the pen when you draw lines that are not vertical or horizontal...

How do you know that it is in the works? Could you provide a link to some kind of reference? Thanks for you reply.

N-Trig jitter is driving me nuts!

Thanks for your reply. So, basically what you are saying is that it is a defective technology that cannot be used for precise work. Microsoft should be up front about this instead of lying to the creative community about how great their products are.

N-Trig jitter is driving me nuts!

Artists and designers frequently have to more the pen very slowly for cleaning up artwork and adding precise details. It is perhaps more important than the levels of detail. Architects, designers, engineers, artists ALL need a high level of precision. This should be taken for granted by...

N-Trig jitter is driving me nuts!

How many YEARS have they had to fix it so far?

N-Trig jitter is driving me nuts!

Thanks for your response. I added your "We need to get a following behind this" response to the list, please vote!. Like many other artists out there have been let down by Microsoft. I really fell for their marketing for designer & artists too...only to be left with a defective technology like...

    N-trig

I am an artist and i am experienced with different types of Wacom tablets. I bought a Surface Book (i7) this week at the new NYC MS store and I am VERY DISAPPOINTED with the way straight lines are "jittered" when i draw slowly. It is most obvious when drawing at an angle. The best way to explain...

N-Trig jitter is driving me nuts!

Does anybody have a solution for the n-trig jitter when drawing slowly? i just dropped almost 4K on the Surface Book and was expecting it to work FLAWLESSLY. When i was testing it at the NYC MS store i didn't notice...but once i got home and started to try doing some real drawing work it REALLY...
