I just used some house hold selotape to hold it back in and it worked much better than what they used in the factory! Though as sage said, at £400 you shouldn't have to be gluing the thing back together! I'm just glad that mine got replaced with the minimum of fuss. good luck with yours sarge!

Is this really a problem?, pretty much any way you pick the Surface up your hand will be holding the cover closed anyway. The only time I can see that it might be useful is if you're using the kick stand so you could flip the cover up and it would stick and turn the screen off but I'm not sure...

Oh, and whilst their selotape might be crap, our good old british selotape is fine, that's how I bodged my temporary repair anyway!
