cursor jumping

I'm using the MS keyboard with my Surface Pro. I'm having issues "selecting," especially in email (MS Outlook 2016). When replying to a message I will select the email with two fingers for "right click". I hit "reply" and then tap on the message to write. When I start typing the message...
