Finance being a problem I had to settle for a Kobo Arc, partly because I wasn't sure whether to get the RT or wait for the full Windows 8 version in January, or wait to see if they bring a slightly smaller version out. Had to have something in my sticky fingers to keep me occupied in the meantime. I like the battery life of the RT and I like the fact that they have introduced more reader apps. My question is, can you still map a network drive with the RT as I normally save to a NAS drive.

No issue with mapping drives on the RT. Work like any Windows computer. I even have my SkyDrive mapped as a drive.

I second that. No problems here. This is a very impressive OS and I'm confident future updates will make it even better.

On a related note, I love mounted volumes and they're still supported by Windows RT. That's how I use my micro SD :)
