AC Adapter USB charger port

Can anyone verify the output of the USB charger port on the AC adapter? Is it 1.0A or 2.1A?

It's 1 amp. I don't know why Microsoft did not make that 2 amp and a real USB port...

Thanks, and yeah, that's a bummer. Can't imagine why they stuck with 1A.
