Adapter for airplane flight

I did not see any of the accessories for the Surface Pro 3 that included an adapter for the cigarette light socket in an airplane. Any suggestions about where I can find an adapter to work?

I assume a private airplane, as commercial aircraft have regular power and/or USB outlets.

From my personal experience piloting private aircraft, most lighter outlets are disabled, and they aren't necessarily 12V either.

Yeah a lot of Cessnas have 28V accessory power. and EmPower on some commercial airliners use 15v. Most of the quality car adapters work from 12V-24V. 28v might be pushing it. Also the connector size may be slightly different. Perhaps its better to get a proper airplane 12v adapter that provides the automotive-spec receptacle, then use the 12v-> surface adapter on top of that.
