Alternative Note Taking App with Calligraphy Support?

Hello Everyone,

I was curious If any of you knew an alternative note taking app to MetaMoji Premium with calligraphy support. I like the futures of MetaMoji, especialy the gradient ink colors which gives a real life juicy fountain pen ink effect, but unfortunately the writing experience isnt perfect since it is pretty laggy compared to One Note. I checked many web sites for analternative but couldn't find any. I was curious if any of you could help me. Thank you in advance. I attach an example of the stye I want, which I made with MetaMoji.

Sometimes I use the brushes in Paint.

OH I feel like I havent used paint since Windows 98. I will give it a try as an alternative even tho it is not the ideal solution since I would loose the extra functions of note taking apps but I will give it a try!
