A shame, because most others seem to love them, with some owning multiple versions. Not quite sure why you felt the need to sign up just to a forum just to say you don't like a product (in an irrelevant thread no less) though :)

Do you work for Microsoft? Probably. So try and man up deal with poor customer feedback. The title of this thread is "Anyone with 100% Functioning Surface Dock?". So don't come the raw prawn.

I think you mean to say "I am sorry that your customer experience has been so poor. Please contact XXXX who will be delighted to help".

None of us work for Microsoft - this is an enthusiast forum with no affiliation with Microsoft proper :). Many of use have been using these devices since Gen 1, are they perfect? Far from it, but for many here this is what we wanted from the OEMs for years.

As a CIO - Microsoft would work directly with you and hopefully resolve any issues you may have - you should be able to reach out to your TAM or AE and they will get you a specialist (typically a TSP).

It’s a personal device. I work in government. I can’t “lean” on Microsoft to sort a personal problem. But I would recommend buying laptops from long standing professional manufacturers. Not Microsoft. It’s a versonal View as my time is very short and I have wasted a huge amount of time trying to get this device to work. It should work OOTB.

It's a bummer you had issues - we have 130 Surface Pro 4/2017, 10 Surface Laptops, 5 Surface Books, 2 Surface Studios and 3 Surface Book 2's deployed in my firm. We had some early issues with the Surface Books (a couple defective) but the replacements have worked well.
